This is where we are now
is a literary and photographic work about wanting to stop time and make it visible. Through self-portraits and tranquil landscape images, the changes of the seasons and the passage of time are depicted. With the help of the camera, the focus becomes narrower and I am allowed to see and stop in nature's compositions.
I see the work as a saving of the changing landscape we are in the middle of, a document of time. A story from the countryside about how the fields undulate and the pines stand in a row and about a woman who is so afraid to forget, and so wants to remember how everything is right now.
